Wait...so it's possible to add mods to armor now?
Is it true you can add your own mods (such as +5 energy or +15 defense while attacking etc.) on armor? If so, how do I do it?

No, it's not true. What Factions armor allows you to do is pick any style of armor you want along with any modifications. For example, you can get a Gladiator's Canthan Hauberk, which has the Canthan armor look and Gladiator's armor stats.

Oh I see, so where do I go to choose which modification I want? Is it listed in the armory screen when you talk to one of the armorers?

Yes, the armorer has a long list of armors to choose from. There are 3 armorer, each with a different style in town. The stats are the same for each armorer, and they allow you pick many more choices(ie +15 armor while attacking, + energy, reduced bleeding, etc.)

Sentinel is the mod. During the second preview weekend, the Sentinel PVP armor was given the Kurzick appearance. It has a different appearance now, and the Kurzick look is PVE-characters-only and not tied to any mod. But some people still think of it as the Sentinel appearance since that's how they first saw it.

Each individual crafter is like the FoW crafter. He has all the diff types of armour available, all with his individual crafting skin.
So a Glads chest from him would look the same as a Legionnaire's chest. But from another crafter, those armours would have a different skin. |
